BWK Elders Australia
In 1993 BWK acquires three wool trading companies. NEW (Neues Wollkontor) from Germany, Booth Hills & NEW from Australia and J.S. Brooksbank from New Zealand. Trade in raw wool, scoured wool and noils are added, resulting in an expansion of the business base and of the sales markets.
BWK Elders Australia had its roots in Booth, Hill and NEW. The objective was to secure access to the raw wool in the long term. The company was integrated into the BWK Group under the name of BWK AustralAsia. In 2000 this trading company was founded as a joint venture together with our partner Elders Australia Ltd. Elders contributed its trading company Elders Wool international. This wool trading company belongs to the leading group of Australian wool exporters and trades in raw wool, scoured wool and top which are distributed on the Asian market.
