BWK in Bremen

The Bremer Woll-Kämmerei was founded as a public limited company in 1883. The site of the plant: an area of 400,000 sq.m. on the banks of the River Weser in Bremen-Blumenthal. Still viable today thanks to its size, its favourable traffic links, and ample, good water resources. more >

BWK Eastern

The small combing plant a two hour's drive east of Istanbul is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is fully functional, i.e. no further investment was necessary for BWK to start operations. The start of production was in the beginning of 2003. more >

BWK Elders Europe GmbH

This wool trading company was established on July 1st, 2001. BWK AG transferred its distribution to the newly founded company of which our partner Elders was holding a 50 % share until the end of 2004. Since January 1st 2005 BWK AG holds 100% in this company. more >

BWK Elders Australia Pty. Ltd., Adelaide, Australien

In 1993 BWK acquires three wool trading companies. NEW (Neues Wollkontor) from Germany, Booth Hills & NEW from Australia and J.S. Brooksbank from New Zealand. Trade in raw wool, scoured wool and noils are added, resulting in an expansion of the business base and of the sales markets. more >
